She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Meeks of Washington and Flossie Bussell Meeks; her husband John W. Lacey, Jr.; and her siblings, Larry E. Meeks, Sr., Randell Meeks and Barbara Ann Meeks.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Boyd of Suwanee, GA, Betty Pirkle of Loganville, GA, Johnnie Lynn Ellis of Buckhead, GA and John Anthony "Andy" Lacey of White Plains, GA; her brother Stevie Lee Meeks; her grandchildren, Alex Pirkle, Michele Ellis and John Luke Lacey; and her great grandchildren, John David Watkins and Elizabeth Grace Watkins. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
