He is survived by: his wife Lois Payne Johnson of Cleveland; his children, John Johnson of Woodstock and Jan Johnson of Cleveland; his stepdaughter Dinia Hardy of Stafford, VA; and his granddaughter Hannah Wilkins of Cleveland.

Flowers will be acknowledged, however it is requested the memorial donations be made to White Creek Baptist Church, 1470 Webster Lake Rd., Cleveland, Georgia 30528.
