She was predeceased by: her father Charles Adams; her daughter Joy DeVal Lott; and her brothers, William Lamar Stallings and Billy Charles Stallings. She is survived by: her husband Clarence E. North of Whitesburg; her son Chuck; her daughter-in-law Linda Lott of Advance, NC; and her grandchildren, Mary Hannah Lott of Winston-Salem, NC. and Tripp Lott (Elizabeth) of Winston-Salem, NC..
