He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Parker Newby; his daughter Marian Newby; his parents, Andy Brown Newby Sr. and Carrie Blynn Wall Newby; and his siblings, Andy Newby and Nancy Bernhardt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bessie Carolyn Newby Ashe of Trenton, GA and Martha "Jacque" Pigage (Tommy) of Hopkinsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
