He was predeceased by: his parents, Epifanio Gaona and Dolores Vasquez; and his siblings, Delfa Gaona, Apolinar Gaona, Atanacio Gaona and Catalino Gaona.
He is survived by: his wife Fidelia Gaona of Willacoochee. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, and several nieces, nephews.
