It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Thompson of Williamson, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar Thompson and Katie Renfroe Thompson; and his sister Erline Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Thompson; his children, April Byrd (Ron) of Meansville and Blake Thompson (Jennifer Lifsey) of Meansville; his grandchildren, Savannah Byrd (Brandon Beasley), McKenzie Byrd, Jordan Thompson (Kas Burris), Brooke Ramos (Ish Ramos), Kyle Thompson and Raegan Thompson; his great grandchildren, Tucker Thompson, Hadley Ramos, Milan Ramos and Huxley Thompson; and his sister Sarah Gunter (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Ronnie Thompson.
