It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Highlander of Williamson, Georgia, born in Clifton, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Lyle "Coco" Highlander. He is survived by : his mother Betty Smithson Highlander (W. Va) of Alderson; his wife Maria Ortiz Highlander of Williamson; his daughters, Yldamarie Turner (Daniel) of Locust Grove, Elizabeth Highlander and Addison Highlander of Williamson; his granddaughters, Evelyn Turner and Elaine Turner of Locust Grove; and his brother Jeffrey Highlander (W. Va) of Alderson. He is also survived by several cousins; and several nieces and one nephew.
