She was predeceased by : her husband Henry Martin Carter; her parents, Claude Clark and Lenora Vaughn Clark; and her siblings, Opal Lyle Russell, Myrtle Lyle and John Franklin Clark.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Carter of Winder and David Carter of Statham; and her granddaughter Kristin Anderson (Michael).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stoney Creek Methodist Worship Center (385 Pleasant Hill Church Rd NE, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
