He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert L. Cain and Sallie Stinchcomb Cain; and his siblings, Leonard Cain, Jimmy Cain, Grace Stanley and Gladys Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Cain; his children, Desa Doster-Rutledge, Greg Clifton (Melissa) and Bernard Bailey Jr.; his grandchildren, Brian Doster (Candace), Carter, Adele and Landon Clifton; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Aiden and Mason Doster.
