He was predeceased by: his father John Michael Cox; and his grandparents, Joyce, Choice Holliday, Sue and Earl Cox.

He is survived by: his mother Vickie Cox of Statham; his brother Shane; his sister-in-law Michelle Cox of Statham; his nephew Dylan Cox; and his niece Brittany Cox Hogan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a special account at Smith Funeral Home that is being set up to help the family.
