He is survived by: his sons, David Maxey of Monroe and Ricky Maxey (Sulan) of Winder; his grandchildren, Justin Taylor Maxey of Atlanta, Creston John Maxey (Raleigh) of Statham, Kaleigh Nichole Brown (William) of Lawrenceville and Brandon Keith Maxey of Monroe; and his great grandchildren, Grant Parker Maxey and Reeves Carter Maxey.
