He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Garrett and Hazel Garrett. He is survived by: his caregiver Lynn Pulkkinen of Winder, GA; his children, Amy Baker (David) of Dacula, Eddie Garrett (Jill) of Chicago and Lorrie Garrett (Lola) of Decatur; and his sister Gloria Giddens (John) of Eastpoint, FL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
