She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Newton Evans and Fairy Putnam Evans. She is survived by: her children, LaRee Gomez of Winder and Wayland Roger Smith, Jr. (Robin); her brother James Evans (Pat); her grandsons, Alex Gomez of Winder, Blake Smith and Jaxon Smith; and her niece Michelle Miller Smith. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
