He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John Loyd Tullis and Ethel Montine Boss Tullis; his daughter Wanda Tullis; and his sister Evelyn Roberts Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Tullis of Winder; his daughter Wendy Tullis of Winder; his stepchildren, Tammy Darlene Totherow of Auburn, Cheryl Denise Totherow of Cleveland, Sandra Lynn Thomas of Apple Valley and Terry N. Tompkins of Gainesville; and his grandchild Tori Tullis of Winder. He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren, and a host step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maddox Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hoschton Baptist Church (380 Sam Freeman Rd, Hoschton, GA 30548). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at the Hoschton City Cemetery.
