It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. Harper of Winston, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wade J. Harper and Anna Nell Pruitt Harper; his wife Mary Lou Harper; and his siblings, Lamar Harper, Luther Harper, Wendell Harper and Jackie Bassett.

He is survived by : his children, Tammy Smith (Mark) and Preston Harper (Kristy); his grandchildren, Jordan Harper, Dylan Jones, Jake Harper, Emily Harper, Rachel Harper, Madyson Duffy, Bella Harper and Alex Smith; and his great grandchildren, Ava Jefferson and Ellie Mae Harper.
