She was predeceased by: her parents, Weyman Ceals Kent and Christine Hawkins Kent; her husband Victor Virgil Cummins; her daughter Carol Cummins Kirby; and her grandson Jacob Kirby.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Cummins Gurley (Walt) and Christy Cummins Slater (Mike); her grandson Ben Slater (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Haley Slater, Alex Slater and Andrew Slater.
