He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Wisener (Michael), Alicia Brumbelow (Tim) and Debbie Echols; his brother Johnny Echols (Pat); and his grandchildren, Shane Wisener (Raquel), Travis Wisener (Megann), Amy Timms, John Pope, Bridget Carter (Justin), Amanda Backus (Jim), Derek Cogland (Amber), Dana Raines (Richard) and Deanna Lewis (Tony). He is also survived by Twenty great-grandchildren; Ten great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens (11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134).
