She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Travis Eldridge and Annie Lou Eldridge; and her sister Linda Pate. She is survived by: her husband Milton Wayne McClain; her daughters, Jacqueline McClain Laney (David) of Weatherford, OK and Emily McClain Bowman (Jody) of Villa Rica, GA.; and her sister Janet Stewart (Scott) of Belzoni, MS..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Central Baptist Church, 5811 Central Church Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135.
