He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Lovins and Jewell O. Lovins; his son Ashley "Ash" Kenneth Lovins; and his siblings, Ollie B. Lovins, Bobby Lovins, Marie Beard, Leonard Lovins, Dick Lovins and James S. "Peanut" Lovins.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kim L. Lovins; his niece Cindy Gilbert (Brian); his great-nieces, Deanna Cobb (Bryce) and Alyssa Jewell Gilbert; and his daughter-in-law Melisa Todd. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosehaven Funeral Home (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Prays Mill Baptist Church (4979 GA-5, Douglasville, GA 30135).
