She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Barnes and Elleanor Carmel Barnes; and her grandson David Earl Stennett, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Earl Thomas Stennett; her children, David Earl Stennett (Ellen), Randy Thomas Stennett, Tracy Stennett Rushing and Kody Stennett; her grandchildren, James Issac Stennett (Nikki), Kristin Chason (Damien), Jeffery Scott Rushing, Jr., Christopher Folsom (Haven) and Patty Taylor (Tranell); and her brothers, James Jerry Barnes (Peggy) and Terry Barnes (Teresa). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (5811 Central Church Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
