He was predeceased by: his parents, James Michael and Eulene Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cavanaugh; his children, Sean Michael Cavanaugh (Leigh Anne) and Elizabeth Tyler (Kerry Sr.); his grandchildren, Anthony David Cavanaugh, Victoria Torres (Shadian), Trevor Cavanaugh (Tabatha Hill), Timothy, Kerry and Kaleb Tyler; his great grandchildren, Levi, Aven, Chandler Cavanaugh, Harmony and Cora Torres; and his siblings, Sandy Sellers (John), Bruce (Cindy) and Brian Cavanaugh (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
David arranged to have his body donated to Emory University School of Medicine for Parkinson's Research. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home and / or donations may be made in his memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
