She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Walker Yates and Nona Faye Landon Yates of Jesup. She is survived by: her brother Carl W. Yates of Douglas; her daughter DeLorean Elise Strickland of Winterville; her granddaughter Hayden Elizabeth Henderson of Winterville; and her aunts, Evonne Poppell of Odum and Mary Ann Landon of Jesup. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
