She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Calloway and Nora Lee Calloway; her husband Bruce Edward Lamey Sr.; and her siblings, Tommy Callaway, Ray Callaway, Ralph Callaway and Colleen Stuart.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Edward Lamey Jr. (Janeen) and William Carey Lamey (Tracy); her grandchildren, Eric Lamey (Ashley), Jonathan Lamey, Haylee Meadows (Nick) and Kara Lamey; her great grandchildren, Skylar Lamey, Randy Lamey and Austin Lamey; and her siblings, Bobby Callaway, Joy Turner and Peggy Deal.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grove Chapel Church.
