She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones Broach and Curtis Byrd Broach; her husband Donald Hataway Sr.; and her daughter Lisa Hataway Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Gunnells, Kathie Hataway and Donald Hataway Jr.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
