Richard Hubert Spivey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, Richard Hubert Spivey of Winterville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Spivey and Willie Hardeman Spivey; his wife Earline Bates Spivey; and his siblings, Lillian Peterman, Merle White, Robert Spivey, Roy Spivey, Frank Spivey, Edgar Spivey and Talmage Spivey.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Spivey (Jeff Watts); and his brother Lammie Spivey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM.
