He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Ashton Van Gorder and Wilma "Billie" Elaine Thomas. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Lea Van Gorder; his wife Melody Lea Van Gorder; his son-in-law Jon Paul Martin; his grandchildren, Evan Brian Plucker, Luke Walker Martin and Shae Briard Martin; and his brother Gregory Thomas Van Gorder.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Allison Memorial Chapel (10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558).
