He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Stanley Gardell, Sr.; and his brother Gilbert Stanley Gardell, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Rosa Mae Faircloth; his wife Cindy Gardell; his children, Cameron Gardell (Morgan) and Luke Gardell (Staci); his grandchildren, Josie, Baylor, Lucchese, Olive and Elsie; and his sister Mandie Cool (Will).
