He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Vance Pyles; his son Mark Curtis Pyles; and his siblings, Tim Pyles, Tony Pyles and Carolyn Pyles Senn.
He is survived by: his father Charles Edward; his wife Victoria Hammond Pyles of Woodbury; and his children, Lynda Pyles Brooks (Steve) of Luverne, AL, Cathy Pyles of Troy, AL, Emily Pyles Dupuis (Kyle) of Macon and Matthew Edward Pyles (Denevia) of LaGrange. He is also survived by his father's passing; eleven grandchildren with one on the way; 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (96 Jefferson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
