She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur "Art" Marvin Sherman and Jean Cable Sherman; her husband Lee Newton Bailey, Jr.; and her nephew Brad Gilbert. She is survived by: her sister Sally Sherman Gilbert (Gene Gilbert); her niece Brittany Shea Gilbert Sulcer (Kevin Sulcer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison, Dylan, Tristan and Ciara Lynn Nowick (Brady Nowick); her stepson Judson Edwin Bailey (ZoeAnn Bailey); and her stepgranddaughters, Abby, Katelyn and Georgia.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lake Sconti (186 Clubhouse Dr, Jasper, GA 30143).
