He was predeceased by: his wife Vickie Lynn Ray; his parents, Charles Edgar Ray and Lillian Marie Ray; his sisters, Dimple Jean Chadwick and Barbara Sue Cobb; and his parents-in-law, Rev. Artis Earl Haynes and Mary Elizabeth Haynes.
He is survived by: his daughter Stefanie; his son-in-law James Browning; his grandsons, Logan Medley and Jacob Browning; his siblings, Pete Ray (Faye) of Rydal, GA, Dwight Ray of Marietta, GA, Larry Ray of Dawsonville, GA, Charles Ray (Carole) of Canton, GA and Linda Vickery of Roswell, GA; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Duke of Woodstock, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
