He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Goehring and Edwin Goehring; his brother Johnny Goehring; and his brother-in-law Danny Cole. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Rice of Woodstock, GA; his daughter Maranda Bolzenius (Jacob) of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Brenden and Brantley Bolzenius of Acworth, GA; his siblings, Lenora Rodenback (Greg), Diana Hull (John) and Eddie Goehring (Nina); his mother-in-law Norma Rice of Rome, GA; and his siblings-in-law, David Cole, Donny Rice, Lori Rager, Debbie Rice and Joan Goehring.
