She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Gillespie Hoke and Edwin Gillespie; and her grandson Justin Sweat. She is survived by: her sisters, Delaine Dalzell and Dawn Patrick; her children, Kimberly Sweat (Stephen Sweat) and Richard Davis (Leslie Seamands); and her granddaughters, Emily Thompson (Max Thompson) and Erin Sweat. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
