She was predeceased by : her parents, Beatrice Spencer Stout and Conrad Wilson Stout; her siblings, Helen Lehman, Velma Lee Collins, Lila Ruth Sunderland, Glenda Kirkhart and Richard Stout; her son Jeffrey Atkinson; and her pets, Murphy and Phoebe.

She is survived by : her children, Charles Atkinson (Andrea), Mark Atkinson, Monte Atkinson (Kate) and Jennifer Painter (Timothy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (121 Claremore Dr, Woodstock, GA 30188).
