She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Cookson and Alice Cookson; and her siblings, Harry Cookson (Mary), Renne Walton (Bob), Edna I Vine (Cyril) and Jean Woods (Ted).

She is survived by : her significant other Robert Rittle; her children, Deane Pennington (Susan), Denise Barnes and Keith Pennington; and her grandchildren, Emily Barnes, Anna Barnes, Mitchell Pennington and Ashley Shinta (Justin).
