He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simon Richie and Pauline Allen Richie; his wife Nancy McCarthy of Woodstock, GA; his son Dave Richie (Melissa Richie) of Colorado Springs, CO.; his daughter-in-law Debra Richie; his stepsons, Shane (Gibbs Lott) of Richmond, VA and Ian McCarthy of Las Vegas, NV; his son John Paul Richie; and his pet Zella. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
