He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Collins; his parents, Mary Evelyn Roach and John Thomas Collins; and his sister Edana Cernut Nix. He is survived by: his sister Cheryl Shaver of Zebulon, GA; his children, Barbara Moser (Rick), Terri Kirby (Terry), Sherry Strickland (Steve) and Jim Hoffman (Debra); and his nieces and nephews, Owen, John, Stephanie and Stacy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
