With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Dalton Cox of Woodstock, Georgia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her sister Linda Lee Dalton; and her parents, Robert Lee and Bertie Mae Dalton. She is survived by : her cherished forever babies, Kimberly Anne Frazier (Mike) and Kelsey Cox Jordan (Scotty); her sister Patsy Dalton Bledsoe (Jimmy); her nephew Brandon Bledsoe; her grandchildren, Ford, Rowan, Ryleigh and Kaleigh; and her former life partner Logan Thomas Cox. She is also survived by numerous neighbors, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a book donation brought to the service, as the date of her final resting occurs on Read Across America Day AND Dr. Suess's birthday; only fitting for the biggest reader and teacher any of us have ever known. We will donate the books to DeeDee's grandchildren's schools.
