She was predeceased by: her parents, Bassie Lee Butler and Lovie Monroe Butler. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Shepherd; and her children, Tracy Waters (Tony Waters) of Hampton, Georgia, Stevie Merrifield of Woodstock, Georgia and Todd Merrifield (Melissa Merrifield) of Social Circle, Georgia.. She is also survived by many loving cousins and one living aunt.
