With sadness, we share the passing of Elizabeth Sermons George (Wrens, Georgia). Elizabeth, born on January 9, 1949, passed away on August 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Lee Cohen Sermons and Thomas Hardeman "Hardy" Sermons. She is survived by: her husband Sterling "Logan" George; her children, Ben George (Jennifer) and Lorinda Brown (Roderick); her grandchildren, Casey Tabor (Laura), Eli George, Meileigh George and Tyler Brown; her great grandchildren, Tripp Tabor and Tyler Tabor; and her sisters, Kathy Sermons, June Denmark (Ricky), Inez Trathel (Murph) and Renee Sermons. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, church family and friends.

The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Wrens Baptist Church.
