She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Cope Stapleton and Dr. James Wright Stapleton Sr.; and her siblings, James Stapleton Jr., Janet Stapleton and Carol Carrere.
She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda S. Carlan (Steve) of Louisville and Ann Stapleton of North Augusta, SC; and her nieces, Christine Greves of Orlando, FL, Jennifer Bennin (Scott) of Louisville and Sarah Harrison (Kevin) of Orlando, FL.
