He is survived by: his children, Dora Davis, Marie Arnette (Daniel), Gladys Brown (Adolph), Willie James Davis, Tarot Davis (Kim) and Darrell Davis (Denise); his siblings, Virginia Scott, Shirley Linder (George), Ailene Taylor (Tommie), Louise Norris (Alonzo), Bobbie Wright, Willie James Ervin and Ted Thomas (Betty); his aunt Winnie Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Vera Davis (Leon), Alzonia Butler, Ella Butler, Lizzie Bell Butler, Ernestine Oliver (A. C.), Alvenia Gilbert, Annie Davis, Janice Dixon and Willie Butler. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
