He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde A. Snell and Ethel Smith Snell; and his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his daughter Monica Blanton (John); his stepson Samuel Swavy; his grandchildren, Daniel Blanton (Lauren) and Katy James (Brett); and his great grandchildren, Addison James and Waylon James.
