He is survived by: his children, Angela Lowe of Augusta, Sherry Wilcher of Wrightsville and Danny Sumner of Ackerman, MS; and his siblings, Curtis Sumner of Soperton, Louis Sumner of Dublin, Freddie Sumner of Milledgeville and Margaret Coleman of Scott. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
