He was predeceased by : his mother Eula Darrisaw; and his siblings, Ella Mae Cason, Charles Darrisaw and Freddie Lee Darrisaw. He is survived by : his sisters, Jeannette Brooks, Judy Mae Darrisaw, Pauline Hines, Betty Jean Warthen and Vandell Warthen; and his children, Octavious Ervin Benjamin Ervin and Veronica Ervin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
