He was predeceased by: his parents, Reford Bailey and Geraldine Hendricks Bailey; his wife Linda Smith Bailey; his daughter Megan Nicole Bailey; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Bailey and Charlene Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Devrick Bailey (Jennifer) of Statesboro and Dawn Hussey (Lynn) of Dublin; his stepchildren, Hugh Foskey (Heather) of Sandersville and Lacretia Jordan (Chris) of Wrightsville; his brother David Bailey of Smithfield, VA; and his grandchildren, Nova Hussey, Christopher Jordan (Elizabeth), Colby Jordan (Carizma), Damon Foskey (Harley), Montana Foskey (Arianna) and Drake Foskey. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
