She was predeceased by : her parents, Tildon Calvin and Effie Redfern Beasley. She is survived by : her husband Mike Claxton of Wrightsville; her sons, Calvin Claxton (Rose) of Wrightsville, John Claxton (Jennifer) of Richmond Hill and Mike Claxton, II of Blue Springs, NE; and her sisters, Jeanne McLendon of Brunswick and Angie Hooks of Soperton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
