He is survived by : his wife Doretha Sampson Owens; his children, Robert Owens, Jr. (Wykeshia) of Tennille, Georgia, James Owens (Joanne) of Sandersville, Lorianne Swint (Marion) of Tennille, Johnny Owens (Sadiah) of Warner Robins, Quinton Owens of Byron, Michael Owens (Shirley) of Savannah, Sheryl Owen of Tennille, Ellen Owens of Tennille and Eric Owens (Michelle) of Waco, Texas; his brother Rev. Roger Owens of Brunswick, Georgia; and his friend Elizabeth Stephen. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
