She was predeceased by: her husband Darvin Byrd. She is survived by: her former husband Reverend William Isaac Brooks; and her children, Eugene Brooks, Randy Byrd (Mary) and Mary Ellen Byrd Johnson. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives.
