It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carla Annette Brown Wiley of Yatesville, Georgia, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Carla may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carla touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Anthony Brown, Sr. and Peggy Ann Cain Brown; and her brother Dwayne Blackmon. She is survived by: her daughters, Erica Nicole Churchwell (Dakota) of Elberton and Kayla Foster of Griffin; her grandchildren, Luke Horton, Kyleigh Foster and Izzy Gortman; and her brothers, Tony Brown (Britt) of Brooks, Greg Blackmon (Tracey) of Tryon, GA and Chris Blackmon of Rome. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Eagles Way Church, 100 Hudson Road, Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Carla.
