With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shara Clay of Yatesville, Georgia, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Simmons and Dorothy Wilkes Simmons; her husband Mickey Clay; and her brother J. Q. Simmons. She is survived by : her children, Tammy Kipp (Darryll) of Yatesville, Jonny White of Thomaston and Edward White of Thomaston; and her sisters, Fara Teal (Louie) of Thomaston, Mary White of Thomaston and Dorothy Hall of Thomaston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
